I always wanted to learn Economics in detail. So took up this examination conducted by Actuarial Society of India and passed the subject. Results!

Hey Dilip, Congrats!
I have been wanting to take a pure econimics course as a study plan, (with exams). Apart from these actuaries (which I dont intend for), Can you suggest something else that I could take up?

Even I do not want to become an actuary. Nor do I want to take a full degree course (correspondance or otherwise) in Economics.
So I checked if any credible association, which is recognized worldwide, can offer only Economics as a single subject, rather than as a complete full-fledged course/Diploma.
And I found that ASI fits my need. The subject material is prepared in UK and is same throughout the world and this is recognized everywhere. I can always ignore other subjects offered!
In my knowledge, there is no other similar alternative.
